Side Note 36-2010: November plenary
There was again in plenary session of the Diet agenda items 42 days. I can not work up any. So here a few:
Tuesday
policy statement by Minister of Culture Althusmann. It turns into a self-justification. Apparently, the high school has compared to its own People to be defended. This is supported by the pronouncements of the teachers' association, sharp criticism from the conservative corner! Even in parliament and the press remains from the striking effect. If the government does not move to the general schools, the opportunity is lost to a consensus on education policy.
Wednesday
ne yet government policy statement. The Home Secretary expressed in the length and width over the course of nuclear waste transports to Gorleben. Beyond dispute: In praise of police. Controversial: the harping on the few situations that are out of control. And of course the subsequent debate on the conflict over the nuclear policy was total. Gorleben was a visible sign against the lifetime extension!
afternoon another theme that will run throughout the week: delays in the hinterland connections of the Jade-Weser Port. The government manages with difficulty, the money for the two-track development of the trail Wilhelmshaven - Oldenburg raise; for electrification and noise but the money is still missing for many years.
addition: My speech on "Dual Citizenship" can be found on the homepage. And take steps to respond to our demands, against the abuse of temporary employment, the government representatives: abuse? What is abuse?
Thursday
The factory farms is the focus of Question Time in the morning. Behind all the procedural issues and health hazards is ultimately the question: Where are the limits to growth in this area? The minister turns out to be little interest insightful representative.
yielding little, because not primarily about the country, the dispute over the Hartz-IV-rule sets. But one thing unites the opposition groups: 5 € fee are ridiculous.
Friday
people, it is possible! First, a SPD-ordered to comprehensive medical care to some contortions of Mr. Krumfuß's going to be adopted unanimously, and then also the change of the Lower Saxony Education Act, which refers to the vocational schools, nor supported by a large majority (even to my speech on the homepage). Only the left vote against it. The tough negotiations was worth it.
